Process Flow: Pizza Rush
You are part of a pizza shop competing to run the most profitable operation. Every pizza moves through five stages, and your actions decide how fast orders move, how many are right, how much is wasted, and how much money the shop makes.
Five stages, one line
-
Order Intake
Read the customer's order before it disappears, and record it.
-
Pricing & Payment
Work out the price, take the payment and give the right change.
-
Assembly
Build the pizza the customer asked for, with the right toppings in the right amounts.
-
Baking
Load the oven, watch the time and take each pizza out when it is done.
-
Slicing & Serving
Check the pizza, slice and pack it, and hand it to the right customer, or send it back.
One session
-
Join and explore
Participants join with a code, choose their team and try each station once. Practice never counts.
-
Run alone
Everyone first runs the whole shop alone, which gives each person their own times at each station.
-
Run as a team, then organize
Teams of five run the line, find where it is held up, agree who works where, and run again.
-
Debrief
Teams see their operating profit, line by line, and where the line was held up. The most profitable shop is named at the end.
The objective: earn the highest operating profit by serving customers accurately, efficiently and on time.
Run it or join it
Facilitators sign in to run a session. Participants need no account: only the join code on the facilitator's screen.
