A shared market for your class to decide in
DECISIM gives a class one live simulation to compete in. Participants make decisions against rivals, see the consequences of their choices, and debrief what happened — in a single session.
Where it fits
- Course sessions
- The experiential core of a topic in a degree or certificate programme: the class plays, then the facilitator leads a debrief that connects what happened to the concepts of the course.
- Executive workshops
- A compressed session inside a one- or two-day programme, where participants who arrive with experience test what they know against each other.
How a session fits your class
- Before
- Choose the timing and teams, add your programme's name and a short context description, and rehearse with a dry run in which bots fill every seat.
- During
- Open the session and project the join code. Once play starts you can pause, make announcements, admit latecomers and follow every team from one workspace.
- After
- Step through the debrief: the outcome, the moments things turned, the decisions each team made and what followed from them. Keep the session's scorecard for your records.
What participants need
-
A phone and a browser
Participants join from their own phone or laptop with a join code or QR code. There is no account to create, no app to install and nothing to pay.
-
A display name
Participants take part under a display name. When a class needs real names, the facilitator can ask for them, and participants are told why before they join.
-
A screen for the class
A projector shows the join code during the lobby and class-safe views during play and debrief.
